Whenever my son-in-law and gardener Dino mows the lawn he always moves the bench, mows where the bench normally sits, and then places the bench back where it was. The way it is supposed to be done. My husband Gaston, on the other hand, doesn"t care for this method. He just mows around the bench, which then looks like it sits on a carpet of daisies. I must admit it also looks nice. And it makes for a nice painting as well… Blackbirds, thrushes, starlings and a family of European robins love the freshly mowed grass: it means a fresh supply of worms and insects!
